Webinar for NIH Research Enhancement Awards (R15) Program

Are you or other principal investigators at your institution preparing a grant application for the NIH Research Enhancement Awards (R15) program? If so, please join our upcoming webinar to learn about the various NIH R15 programs, the one NIGMS participates in, and application components. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions:

This webinar will explore how R15 programs can unlock the potential for educational institutions to conduct meritorious research, expose students to research opportunities, and strengthen the overall research environment. You can submit questions about the programs when you register for the webinar, send them to us before the webinar, or post them in the chat box during the event.

This webinar will be closed captioned and will include an American Sign Language interpreter. Questions about the format or requests for reasonable accommodations should be submitted to NIHGrantsEvents@nih.gov at least 5 days prior to the event.

Charles is a biochemist who manages grants in the areas of bioenergetics, redox reactions, and trace metal homeostasis. He is a scientific contact for the NIGMS Academic Research Enhancement Awards (AREA) R15 program and is chair of the NIH R15 Program Advisory Committee.

A biophysicist, Anne manages grants in the areas of molecular modeling, theory, and design including macromolecular structure prediction, protein folding, ligand binding, and drug design. She is also a scientific contact for the NIGMS Academic Research Enhancement Awards (AREA) R15 program.
