Peggy Wang, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Biophysics, Biomedical Technology and Computational Biosciences. She administers grants in computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, and the National Science Foundation/NIGMS BioMath program.

Prior to joining NIGMS, Wang was a program specialist at the National Cancer Institute supporting team science programs that produce genomic data and computational resources for the research community.

Wang received a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied different ways to utilize gene networks to predict functions and disease associations.
