Biographical Sketch: Wuhong Pei, Ph.D.

Wuhong Pei, Ph.D., is a program director in the Research Advancement Programs Branch of the Division for Research Capacity Building, where she manages grants for the Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence, IDeA Clinical and Translational Research Network (formerly IDeA Centers for Clinical and Translational Research), and Support for Research Excellence programs.

Before joining NIGMS, Pei served as a health specialist at the Extramural Research Division of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. Prior to that, she was a staff scientist at the Translational and Functional Genomics Branch of the National Human Genome Research Institute.

Pei received a Ph.D. in immunology from the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences in China and conducted postdoctoral research at the National Cancer Institute and Uniformed Services University.
