Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Marquea D. King, Ph.D.

Dr Marquea D. King

Marquea D. King was a Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) undergraduate student at Delaware State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1997. She went on to become a MARC predoctoral fellow at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, earning a Ph.D. in toxicology in 2002. King is now a toxicologist in the Office of Pesticide Programs at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C.
