Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Henry Rodriguez, Ph.D.

Dr. Henry Rodriguez

Henry Rodriguez participated in the Minority Biomedical Research Support program at Florida International University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry in 1986 and a master's degree in biology in 1988. He went on to earn a Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology from Boston University in 1992, followed by a master's degree in business administration from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2003. Rodriguez now serves as director of the Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research at the National Cancer Institute. In that position, he oversees efforts to accelerate the understanding of the molecular basis of cancer-related changes in biological processes using proteomic technologies and workflows.
