Luis Campos was a Minority Access to Research Careers undergraduate student at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2001. After completing his undergraduate degree, Campos conducted research at King’s College in London. He went on to the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Ph.D. in chemistry in 2006. During his doctoral studies, Campos performed research at the University of Minnesota and at the Linz Institute for Organic Solar Cells in Austria. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he is now an assistant professor of chemistry at Columbia University in New York.
