Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Alejandro L. Briseno, Ph.D.

Alejandro Briseno participated in the Maximizing Access to Research Careers and Minority Biomedical Research Support programs at California State University, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 2004. He went on to earn a master's degree in chemistry in 2006 at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 2008 at the University of Washington, Seattle. Briseno performed postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, and is now a assistant professor of polymer science and engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
