NIGMS has a longstanding commitment to fostering a highly trained and diverse biomedical research workforce. As part of this commitment, the Institute, through its Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity, supports multiple institutional undergraduate student development programs.
We have launched a process of review to ensure that these initiatives continue to contribute most effectively to building a highly trained and diverse biomedical workforce. An important part of this effort is soliciting public input.
A formal Request for Information appears in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. Respond by the deadline of April 15, 2015.
