Biographical Sketch: Janna Wehrle, Ph.D.

Janna Wehrle, Ph.D., is the acting chief of the Biophysics Branch in the Division of Cell Biology and Biophysics. She administers research grants in the areas of biophysical and biocomputational approaches to protein structure, protein folding and misfolding. Prior to joining NIGMS, Wehrle was an associate professor in the department of radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned a B.S. and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Ohio State University. Wehrle conducted postdoctoral research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
