Letter of Intent Requirements

In most cases, letters of intent are not required and are not binding. Program Project Grants and Other Large Applications (>$500,000)

Conference Grants
Applications for support of scientific meetings require an acceptance letter from an institute or center. Potential applicants must submit a letter of intent at least 30 days before the application deadline. For more information, see Support for Scientific Meetings (R13, U13).
