Biographical Sketch: Peggy Wang, Ph.D.

Peggy Wang, Ph.D., is a program director in Division of Biophysics, Biomedical Technology and Computational Biosciences. She administers grants in molecular network modeling, bioinformatics, and the National Science Foundation/NIGMS BioMath program.

Prior to joining NIGMS, Wang was a program specialist supporting team science programs that produce genomic data and computational resources for the research community.

Wang received her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied different ways to utilize gene networks to predict functions and disease associations.
