To complete the MARC U-STAR budget pages follow these instructions:
- Fill out the “PHS 398 Detailed Budget For Initial Budget Period Direct Costs” form for the Training Related Expenses (TRE).
- Open the MARC U-STAR application from PAR-13-205 using the “Apply for Grant Electronically” button and download the application package.
- Under the “Mandatory Documents” select “PHS 398 Training Budget.”
- Under “Section F. Budget Justification” attach the completed “PHS 398 Detailed Budget For Initial Budget Period Direct Costs” form.
