Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Edwin John Weeber, Ph.D.

Edwin Weeber earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of New Mexico in 1993. He participated in the Minority Biomedical Research Support program as a predoctoral fellow at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where he earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience in 1998. Weeber performed postdoctoral research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He is now an associate professor in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of South Florida, where he also directs the Murine Neurobehavioral Laboratory and the Cellular Electrophysiology Laboratory.
