Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Elizabeth B. Torres, Ph.D.
Elizabeth Torres was a Minority Access to Research Careers undergraduate student at San Jose State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science in 1994. She earned a Ph.D. in cognitive science from the University of California, San Diego, in 2001, followed by postdoctoral training in electrophysiology at the California Institute of Technology. She is now an assistant professor of psychology and computer and cognitive science at Rutgers University.
