Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Yvette Renee Pittman, Ph.D.

Yvette Pittman was a Minority Access to Research Careers undergraduate student at Delaware State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2002. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and microbiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/Rutgers University in 2008. She is now a postdoctoral fellow at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, NIH.
