Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Alvin McKelvy, Ph.D.

Alvin McKelvy earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Francis Marion University in 2003. He participated in the Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program at the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Ph.D. in biomedical science from the university’s School of Medicine in 2009. He is now a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins University.
