Dolores Bradley participated in the Minority Access to Research Careers and Minority Biomedical Research Support programs at Tennessee State University, where she earned a dual bachelor's degree in psychology and english in 1985. She went on to earn a Sc.M. degree in 1989 and a Ph.D. in 1992, both in experimental psychology at Brown University. She completed her postdoctoral work at the Yerkes Research Center of Emory University, where she is now a research associate in the Division of Sensory-Motor Systems. She is also a full professor and vice chair of psychology at Spelman College, where she directs the college’s Office of Research Development and MBRS Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement program.
