Diversity Program Alumni Updates: Lee Aggison, Ph.D.

Lee Aggison was a Minority Biomedical Research Support program participant at Stillman College. He graduated in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in the biological sciences and chemistry and went on to earn a Ph.D. in biological sciences from Wayne State University in 1997, followed by postdoctoral research in the department of human genetics at the Cardiovascular Research Center, University of Michigan. He is now an associate professor of molecular and cell biology at the University of Connecticut. In addition, Aggison is also director of the Professional Science Master's Program in Microbial Systems Analysis and associate dean of the Graduate School.
