Biographical Sketch: Sarah Dunsmore, Ph.D.

Sarah Dunsmore, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Biological Chemistry, where she administers grants in the areas of sepsis, drug targets and innate immunity. Prior to joining NIGMS, she served as an instructor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dunsmore earned a B.S. in molecular biology and mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in physiology from Pennsylvania State University. She conducted postdoctoral research at Washington University in St. Louis.
