Susan Haynes, Ph.D.

Susan Haynes, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Genetics and Developmental Biology, where she manages grants in the area of developmental genetics. She came to NIGMS from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she served as an assistant professor in the department of biochemistry and molecular biology. Haynes earned a B.S. in biology from the University of Cincinnati and a Ph.D. in molecular cell biology from Rockefeller University. She was a senior staff fellow in the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, NIH.
