Michelle R.J. Hamlet, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity. She serves as the program contact for the Bridges to the Future programs. Before joining NIGMS, Hamlet served as the first training program coordinator in the NHGRI Intramural Training Office. She earned a B.S. in language arts/French from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in cell and developmental biology from Harvard University. Hamlet conducted postdoctoral research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
